Example Ox files Distributed with DCM

List of examples relating to Greene's transportation mode dataset.

a) Conditional/Multinomial Logit with "multiple row" data structure (see Manual) with test for preference heterogeneity

b) Nested Logit having "air" in one nest and "train", "bus", and "car" alternatives in a second nest.

c) Mixed Logit, random preferences. Demonstration of how to move between common data structures in discrete choice models. Alternative specific constants are assumed independent normal distributed; a prices coefficient is distributed lognormal.

d) Three Multinomial Probit Models: i) i.i.d errors with fixed coefficients; ii) Heteroscedastic errors, fixed coefficients; iii)i.i.d errors with random coefficients

e) Ordered Probit Model: Demonstration of the generate function in DCM. DCM can generate simulated data for any a broad class of discrete choice model

f) Ordered Mixed Probit Model: Using the generate function, this example demonstates how DCM makes it simple to perform Monte Carlo experiments.
