Relation to Cambridge Finance
CIMF will complement the other Cambridge Finance Research Centres but will seek out synergies between the Centres through a regular series of joint seminars and an annual workshop.

The Centre for Financial Research (CFR) is based in the Judge Business School, and is concerned with the design, pricing and risk control of derivative and more traditional financial products. Its research into dynamic portfolio management aims to advance the commercial use of flexible model-based planning over long-term horizons.
The Centre for Research in Quantitative Finance (CRQF) based in the Statistical Laboratory is primarily concerned with research in the formulation, analysis and estimation of advanced models of financial markets, and the interests of its members include econometrics, option pricing, computational finance, market microstructure modelling, information effects and other forms of interaction.
