Safety

The main Library doors, the doors at the far right end of the lower part of the Library and the Gallery, the door at the back of the Stats Room and the door directly beneath it in the Library Office.

Fire alert buttons are situated in the left-hand entrance to the Stats Room, next to the fire exits on the lower part of the Library and Gallery, and beside the main entrance. The alarm bell will ring continuously if there is an emergency.

Please familiarise yourself with these exits and alarm points and, if the alarm rings, vacate the building immediately and assemble at the Assembly point outside Lady Mitchell Hall. Do not stop to collect your belongings.
