Online renewalsIt is possible to renew books online. The best way to do this is to follow the link to the Library Search page from the Marshall Library web page and to then select Accounts & renewals. You will then need to enter your University Card barcode number and your surname. The total number of renewals on a single item is five. After you have renewed a book five times you will need to physically return it to the Library and have it discharged from your card. You may then have it re-issued to you. Please remember that you will be unable to renew a book if:
Please remember that if you are trying to renew your books online you should always give yourself sufficient time to return them to the Library if, for any of the reasons listed above, you are unsuccessful in your attempts to renew them. Failure to do so will result in fines being charged. Open Shelf books will be held behind the Issue Desk for the borrower that requested them until 6.30 p.m. of the day they were returned (if the book is returned between 9 and 1pm, and until 12.30 pm of the day after if the book was returned between 1 and 7pm. Books from the Reserve Collection will be held for 15 minutes after the time that they were due back.
