Grade 4 - £20,409 to £23,661 per annum
The Faculty is looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic person to provide administrative support to Faculty staff in applying for and managing sponsored research while the postholder is on maternity leave. The post-holder is also responsible for the production and distribution of Faculty publications including alumni and faculty newsletters and also the Faculty's research paper series. Occasionally administrative support will be required for conference or workshop organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Registrary and the Chief Accounts Clerk.
The post calls for initiative, a high level of accuracy, a good eye for detail, an ability to work to deadlines and a systematic work pattern. Excellent organisational skills are essential. The duties are diverse and the jobholder must be able to tailor the support provided to the varying needs of the individuals concerned as well as respond diplomatically when faced with competing requests for assistance.
