CES Nomination for Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta

Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta has been formally acknowledged for outstanding achievements in the development of economic thought. The Center for Economic Studies (CES) has announced its decision to nominate Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta as its Distinguished CES Fellow for 2011.

The prize will be awarded at a ceremony at the University of Munich on the 15th November 2011. He will then go on to deliver the eighteenth Munich Lectures in Economics , a series of three public lectures. Previous holders of this award include Olivier Blanchard, Paul Krugman and Nicholas Stern.
