Salary: £24,049-£27,047 (Grade 5)

The Faculty of Economics is recruiting a full-time Administrative Secretary to work within its Teaching and Learning team from 1 July 2013. The postholder has specific responsibilities with regard to undergraduate students, including overall responsibility for Tripos examinations, acting as secretary for Part I and Part IIB examination boards and overseeing the Part IIA examining board; entering information, checking, and updating the Faculty’s teaching webpages, as well as managing the appointment of, and support for, the undergraduate Teaching Fellowships scheme. The postholder will also assist the Teaching Administrative Officer with the Teaching and Learning Committees and will attend meetings and draft minutes, as well as taking responsibility for the meetings of one of the Faculty’s four Subject Groups.

The postholder is also responsible for the management of four part-time support staff in the reception/reprographics section.

You will have excellent interpersonal and organisation skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work in a team environment.
