Macroeconomics: Where are the Women?
Dr Carolina Alves together with Dr Ingrid Kvangraven (University of York, Decon) and Dr Angus Armstrong (Director of Rebuilding Macroeconomics, NIESR) is organising the Rebuilding Macroeconomics’ Second Annual Conference on ‘Women in Economics’, which is part of the ESRC’s Festival of Science. The Political Economy of Anger, Rebuilding Macroeconomics
Rebuilding Macroeconomics are hosting an afternoon talk "The Political Economy of Anger". The event will feature Professor Mark Blyth and macro fund manager Eric Lonergan discussing their forthcoming book on the political economy of anger, along with two discussants Professor Anand Menon and Dr. Carolina Alves. It will be held at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR), London, on 5th February 2019, from 1.00-3.00pm.

Rebuilding Macroeconomics - Women in Economics
Rebuilding Macroeconomics are holding a Women in Economics event as part of the ESRC Festival of Social science at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. The event will take place on the 9th of November 2018 between 12.00 and 05.40pm, at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research in London.

DEEs Workshop 2018 - Call for Papers
The "How to Conceptualise Financialisation in Developing and Emerging Economies? Manifestations, Drivers and Implications" workshop will be held on 13-14 December 2018, at Girton College, University of Cambridge. The workshop invites contributions on the theoretical and empirical specificities of the manifestations, drivers and implications of financialisation in DEEs. Paper proposals should be submitted by June 1st 2018.
