Networks, Industrial Organization, Macroeconomics, Economic History

My research involves applications of the theory of strategic network formation, specifically to real-world transportation and communication networks. In previous work, I have estimated the macroeconomic effect of transportation networks and financial exchanges using historical data. I have also examined the role of product reviews and information aggregation in the entertainment industry.
