Richard J Smith is 65 this year and a small conference was held in his honour on 30th and 31st May.
The lectures took place in the Winstanley Lecture Theatre in Trinity College and were open to all.
Richard J Smith is Professor of Econometric Theory and Economic Statistics.
He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and a Fellow of the British Academy.
Richard is currently Chair of the Faculty of Economics but will be relinquishing the role in the summer having served for three years.
