Professor M. Hashem Pesaranl has elected the first President of the International Iranian Economic Association.
The election of the first board of the International Iranian Economic Association is as follows:
Officers: President, Hashem Pesaran; Executive Secretary, Hassan Hakimian, and Treasurer, Parvin Alizadeh. Board: Sohrab Behdad, Masoud Karshenas, Fatemeh Etemad Moghaddam, and Hadi Salehi Esfahani.
The new IIEA Board of Directors, composed of the four elected members and the three officers, will take over from the interim Board during the IIEA annual conference in June 24-25, 2013, in Istanbul.
