Holds degrees from the University of Copenhagen (BSc Economics, MSc Economics), the London School of Economics (MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics) and the London Business School (PhD Economics). Was awarded a Mid-Career Fellowship by the British Academy (2012-2013).

Major Policy Challenges Explored - Publication Date: 2018-11-20
Dr. Flavio Toxvaerd has been made a visiting fellow of the Bennett Institute for Public Policy. Along with two other visiting fellows, Dr. Toxvaerd will be exploring major policy changes over the next year.

The Faculty is pleased to announce that Dr. Flavio Toxvaerd has been appointed an Associate Editor at the European Economic Review.

Dr Flavio Toxvaerd on giving economic advice to the Review on Antimicrobial Resistance. - Publication Date: 2016-09-19
From 2014 to 2016 Dr Flavio Toxvaerd served as the Economic Advisor for the Government and Wellcome Trust-commissioned independent Review on Antimicrobial Resistance. In May 2016 the Review published its 10 recommendations around how we can tackle this worsening global public health crisis.
