Holds degrees from the University of Copenhagen (BSc Economics, MSc Economics), the London School of Economics (MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics) and the London Business School (PhD Economics). Was awarded a Mid-Career Fellowship by the British Academy (2012-2013).

Dr. Flavio Toxvaerd organised a Symposium on Competition Policy at Clare College Cambridge, on the 17th of May 2019. The Bennett Institute have added videos of the days presentations to their website.

IMF Antimicrobial Resistance and Pandemics Symposium - Publication Date: 2019-02-11
Dr. Flavio Toxvaerd will be acting as Facilitator at the The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Antimicrobial Resistance and Pandemics Symposium, held in Washington DC, on 12th February 2019.

Dr. Flavio Toxvaerd has been made a visiting fellow of the Bennett Institute for Public Policy. Along with two other visiting fellows, Dr. Toxvaerd will be exploring major policy changes over the next year.
