The Eighth Conference on the Econometric Models of Climate Change (EMCC VIII) will take place at King’s College, University of Cambridge on August 16-17, 2024, and is organised in collaboration with the Janeway Institute and the Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance (CERF) at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
The appointment will reflect Professor Linton’s deep sector knowledge, as well as his passion for driving progress in economic research. His skills and experience will support the Faculty as it educates the next generation of economists.

Professor Sanjeev Goyal to give an invited talk on 'Networks and Markets', at the 2015 World Congress of the Econometric Society in Montreal.
Professor Linton will join the team of Jianqing Fan, Yacine Ait-Sahalia (both Princeton University), and Han Hong (Stanford University) as of January 2014
The aim of the Association is to advance the education of the public in the subject of econometrics and its applications to a variety of fields in economics, in particular, but not exclusively, by advancing and supporting research in that field, and disseminating the results of such useful research to the public.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in Economics at Columbia University and obtained his PhD from Harvard University.
His research interest are Econometrics, statistics, factor models, large random matrices.
