Gallo quoted on AI dangers

Professor Edoardo Gallo has been quoted in an article on the existential risk posed by AI in an article in El Pais.

He said it was important to talk about the risk of AI because of the great uncertainty that exists around such new technology.

He was quoted in the article as saying that while we have very little idea of the probabilities, he is pretty sure the risk of human extinction from AI in the next 100 years is very low. However it is also clear that it is not zero.
