Rising Temperatures, Melting Ratings

Dr. Kamiar Mohaddes has published an article for VOXeu that looks at sovereign credit ratings and climate-driven downgrades. The column, "Rising Temperatures, Melting Ratings", joint with Patrycja Klusak (University of East Anglia), Matthew Agarwala (Bennett Institute for Public Policy), Matt Burke (University of East Anglia) and Moritz Kraemer (SOAS Centre for Sustainable Finance), reports on research that uses artificial intelligence to construct the world’s first ‘climate smart’ sovereign credit rating and warns of climate-driven downgrades.
