Kirill Zavodov, College Lecturer in Economics at Magdalene College, has been awarded $30,000 prize at the 5th Annual Astana Economic Forum in Kazakhstan for the best research in economics.
The research is based on his doctoral thesis entitled “Essays on investment under uncertainty and asymmetric information”. The award was presented by Prof Robert Aumann, the 2005 Nobel Laureate in economics.
The Faculty of Economics will have an Information Stand in the Law Faculty on both days manned by members of academic staff.
