The Faculty of Economics did very well in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014. According to the ranking published by the Times Higher Education, the Faculty was 2nd measured by the quality of research output, 6th in terms of impact, and 4th overall. The Faculty’s chairman, Professor Sanjeev Goyal comments:
