The EAERE is an international scientific association dedicated to three main goals: contributing to the development and application of climate and environmental economics in Europe; encouraging climate and resource economics collaboration on climate and resource economics between scholars, policymakers, researchers; and developing cooperation across university and research institutions in Europe. Established in 1990, the association has today around 1.400 members in over 60 countries worldwide, ranging from academics, individuals in the public sector, policymakers, researchers and more. EAERE manages two official Journals, Environmental and Resource Economics (ERE) and Review of Environmental Economics and Policy (REEP) and organises its Annual Conference each summer.
