Former Marshall Lecture speaker Claudia Goldin wins economics Nobel prize

The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel has been awarded to US economist Claudia Goldin, for her work on women’s participation in the labour market.

The now Harvard-based economics professor, has won the biggest prize in economics for having advanced our understanding of women’s labour market outcomes.
