Dr Vasco Carvalho has been awarded the Wiley Prize in Economics. The Wiley Prize in Economics rewards achievement in research by an outstanding early career economist. Research may be in any field of economics or economic history. The Prize was first awarded in 2013.
At the 5th World Congress of the Associations of Environmental and Resource Economists, Partha Dasgupta received the European Lifetime Achievement Award in Environmental Economics from the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists.

Saleem Bahaj has been awarded the Klaus Liebscher Award 2014, by the Oesterreichische Nationalbank, for a Paper on "Systemic Sovereign Risk: Macroeconomic Implications in the Euro Area". The Prize will be awarded at the Economics Conference of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) on May 12th and 13th, 2014.
The Pilkington Prizes were initiated by Sir Alastair Pilkington, the first Chairman of the Cambridge Foundation, who believed passionately that the quality of teaching was crucial to Cambridge’s success.
