Peter Andreas Nielsen (MPhil in Economics Student) was awarded two prizes at the Model WTO at the University of St. Gallen and the WTO Headquarters in Geneva. Peter received the prize for being the best negotiator on the Special and Differential Treatment and Dispute Prevention Committee and another prize for the second best essay submitted during the application process.

After completing a PhD at Cornell, Mass., USA, and being appointed to lecturing positions in the USA, she returned to Cambridge as a lecturer, and subsequently Reader, in the Faculty of Economics from 1980-1998.
